Modifying Partitions
Most people who run more than one OS occasionally need to modify their partition arrangements on a working computer. There are several possible reasons for doing so:
Adding an OS— When you add an OS, you must often allocate space for the new OS by giving it partitions. This action entails modifying your current configuration.
Deleting an OS— When you remove an OS you no longer need, its partitions become fair game for use by other OSs.
Shifting disk space requirements— You might find that you use one OS for most tasks and another for a few. You might therefore want to convert disk space from use by one OS to another.
