Additional Partitioning Software
The utilities I've just described by no means constitute the entire selection of partitioning software available for x86 PCs. Some additional programs include
OS software— Most OSs ship with some partitioning utility. Most of these are custom designed for the OS in question, but some aren't. BeOS, for example, ships with a stripped-down version of PartitionMagic.
Partition Commander— V Communications, the producer of System Commander, also sells a product similar in concept to PartitionMagic. Partition Commander supports fewer filesystems, however, which makes PartitionMagic a better choice for most multi-OS environments. System Commander comes with a stripped-down version of Partition Commander.
