Windows 95 and 98
Windows 95 and Windows 98 are two similar OSs—so similar that they're often referred to collectively as Windows 9x. Windows 98 is essentially an update to Windows 95 that modifies the user interface and adds new drivers and utilities, including a closer integration of Internet tools into the OS and integrated support for USB devices. The basic features and best uses for these OSs are therefore largely identical. If you have a choice, you should probably run Windows 98 because it's more up-to-date.
