What Type of Photographer Are You Now?

What was the first thing that came to mind when you read this question? At the risk of stating the obvious, if you like to photograph landscapes, you would probably have answered that you are a landscape or possibly a nature photographer, and if you enjoy making images of people, then you might have answered that you are a portrait photographer. The problem with this type of labeling is that it can be self-limiting. If you think of yourself as a nature photographer, for instance, you might stop yourself from seeing the slightly less obvious beauty of urban and industrial environments.
