API (application programming interface). A programming interface that allows software to interact or fit in with other software. In Minecraft, it allows for smoother matching of the programming with mods and plugins.
blocks. The basic building material in Minecraft, blocks are approximately one meter cubes and can be anything from dirt and stone to wool or a watermelon.
caps. Using all uppercase letters when chatting online—it is considered shouting and therefore rude.
despawn. When a mob or item disappears from the game. Mobs despawn when they are killed. Player items dropped at death will also despawn after a few minutes.
enchantments. Spells that can be applied to items by using an enchanting table and experience points.
