The essence of this Aspect of the Partner Voice is this: the coach brings the coaching expertise, but the client is the expert on what he needs from coaching. As we saw in the previous dialogue, focusing now and then on how we’re working together and how we’re using our time makes the coach more accountable to the client, and it makes the client more responsible as well.
