Although I’ve chosen to use the language of the emerging field of coaching, including the terms coach and client, this book is meant for practitioners of many professions. Most of you, my intended readers, will be full-time professional coaches, business leaders, or organizational development and training specialists. A few of you will be therapists, social workers, or clergy. Some will act as coaches in several capacities in your lives.
