Outcomes are key to coaching, and animate everything that follows. Initially, competency-based outcomes provide form for the overall coaching process. Later, continually articulating what the client wants in relation to emerging situations will provide a clear vision of the outcome. The idea is to build sufficient investment to surmount both internal resistance and external obstacles.
