You may think, What has exercise and food got to do with making money and becoming successful? Well, I can tell you from experience that eating the right foods and exercising regularly helps you become more successful.
Let me share with you some discoveries I've made.
I've spent a lot of my life overweight. I never used to exercise regularly, and was so engrossed in making money that I didn't think about diet. However, when I made the decision to change my eating habits and start exercising regularly, my life changed for the better, and I became more successful.
Although I'd been successful in business and able to keep my mind fit and positive, I neglected my body for many years. I now realize that keeping fit and watching your weight is an important part of success. Health is something we should all take notice of.
Why Being Fit Makes You Successful
When I lost weight, I instantly had more energy. Being thinner made me more confident and assertive, and generally more cheerful. This in turn made me feel good, and I became more successful as a result. You must have heard the slogan, look good, feel great. It's true.
Like it or not, we live in an image-conscious society, and people judge you by your weight.
I also found that working out on a regular basis helped me reduce fatigue. Contrary to what you might think, exercise actually builds up your energy levels. It may tire you out while you're doing it, but you'll have much more energy afterwards.
