FINDING AND GETTING TO KNOW YOUR MENTOR
IN CHAPTER TWO you considered what you needed from a mentor and the skills, strengths, and approaches to learning you will bring to the relationship. This means you completed the groundwork to help you become a strong partner in a mentoring relationship. Now it is time to take that learning forward and consider what kind of mentor you need, given your situation. Specifically in this chapter we look at how to identify, seek, and select a mentor; ensure that you and your mentor are a good fit; and establish a relationship with a mentor.
