Why Train?

Training. Development. Coaching. Mentoring. Learning. Self-learning. Self-study. Education. Roundtables. Breakouts. Classes. We have all heard and used these terms in our leadership work. Some leaders find them a little confusing and are not really sure what they are and why they are important.

I have been involved in training and development for the past 19 years, 17 of which were spent in various corporate training roles. I have worked in and around Training departments, helped launch a corporate university, and run my own training and development company.
