Arrogant Certainty versus Flexibility to Learn

Some people have it all figured out, or at least they think so. They come across as knowing all the answers, needing no additional information, and regarding him- or herself as the ultimate expert or authority on everything. Anyone with this style of working is highly likely to put others on the defensive and will be perceived as a source of irritation. By maintaining a flexible attitude to learn and the ability to acknowledge it by saying “I don’t think that way anymore,” it provides a framework for growth and high performance output.
