Student Summer Jobs

Hiring high school or college students during the summer is a good way to introduce them to your business and also to see if they would be good hires for full-time employment in the future. As with internships, it is important that some time be given to structuring the program so that the student has a positive experience with your organization. Providing them with too much or too little work, or work that is overly redundant could turn them off to your organization and your industry in general. Make sure the program reflects the true nature of the organization and fosters good relationships with those it sponsors.
