Task II. Summary

In this task you learned to clarify the direction for your team. This involved creating a plan, assigning responsibilities and learning how workgroup technologies could move your team through the stages of development.

To establish a plan you first defined a mission. The mission for a team is more concrete than the vision statement you articulated in Task I. Nonetheless, the mission is aligned and in agreement with the vision.

In addition to the mission, you developed a set of goals and objectives for your team. This gave you a road map to get from A to B by breaking down the project into smaller portions.
