JOB DESCRIPTION FORMATADA REQUIREMENTS

Most job descriptions are divided into sections. Generally these include an introductory section about the Organization, a segment referred to as Nature and Scope, and another called Essential Job Functions. It is in this last section that you document the duties of the job keeping in mind the requirements of the ADA. You must be factual, accurate, and quantifiable where necessary. If you cannot justify the job requirement; do not list it as a job requirement. Let’s look at a sample form:
