Reasonable accommodation is actively working to accommodate a disability. Examples include putting volume controls on telephones for the hearing impaired; altering facilities by putting bars in the restrooms or installing wheelchair ramps for accessibility; and allowing the use of flex-time to accommodate those who have medical or treatment appointments such as ongoing dialysis.
