TIP #2: DEVELOP A STRATEGY TO HANDLE QUESTIONS

The following are a series of hints to help you handle the general types of questions you might be asked:

1.   Have Several Theme Statements Ready.

Whenever you go into any Q-and-A session, have a few main themes you want to drive home. Use the answers to emphasize your points. For example, you might want to emphasize that among other things, your organization has been fair in its handling of a particular crisis. Therefore say it: “Once again, our company in the absolute interest of fair play did the following …” Keep coming back to your themes time and again to ensure that the audience remembers them.
