TIP #1: ANTICIPATE QUESTIONS

Two-thirds of a successful Q-and-A session begins with proper question anticipation. To accomplish this you need to do two things: First, review your audience analysis; second, brainstorm (with others if possible) the kinds of questions you think you might receive.

Because you’ve already prepared an audience analysis before this point in your speech, that part of question preparation is easy. However, you need to apply your analysis to the basic question: “What would a typical person from this audience ask about my topic?” By analyzing the audience, you raise their natural biases in your mind and thus approach the topic from their point of view.
