DELIVERY OPTIONS

When you commit to speak to a particular group, you will need to decide on what type of delivery method you should best employ: extemporaneous or manuscript speech delivery. Let’s take a moment to define both and then look at each in more depth.

The Extemporaneous Speech

The extemporaneous speech is often misunderstood for impromptu speech (often called “winging it”). There is a vast difference between the (prepared) extemporaneous speech and off-the-cuff impromptu remarks.
