2. No. The metric will simply measure the number of people who have received the training. The goal statement is to ensure understanding.

1. Yes. The assumption is that if operators are following the standard operating procedures, problems in the processes are less likely.
2. Yes. The audit will give a good indication of the use and knowledge of SOPs. Auditors should also ensure that operators receive feedback where needed.
