A couple of years ago I went to fashion designer Paul Smith’s offices in Covent Garden, with some colleagues from Channel 4, and I was really struck by the stuff he had lying around. It reminded me that I have “stuff” dotted around my home, objects I like that spark my imagination. Props from shoots. Souvenirs from trips. Related to that, I find I use art quite a lot. An occasional sortie to the cinema or an art gallery, even in the middle of a working day – I need that inspiration to charge up the creative batteries again.’ ADAM
