What’s your point?
Trust is a major source of power and influence for you. It takes time to build this. If anyone uses the words ‘Trust me’ as a means of influencing me I am automatically suspicious of the reasons why I am being told to do this. Those who have real influence do not have to remind anyone of the source of that influence.
