2.7. Inserting Rows in SAS Data Tables

When you add rows to a data table, all the same caveats apply as when editing data tables. You’ll probably want to save a copy of your table before making changes. You must switch to update mode. Any data you enter must match the informat assigned to that column. For a discussion of these topics, see the previous section.
