1.6. SAS Data Tables
SAS Enterprise Guide can read and write many kinds of data files (see Chapter 2 for more on this topic), but for most purposes, you will want to have your data in a special form called a SAS data table. When you open a SAS data table, it is displayed in the workspace in a Data Grid. The following Data Grid shows the Tours data table. A new tour has been added for Lassen.
Terminology
