Creating a New Column

Sometimes you want to create a new column based on values in an existing column. For example, the Height column in the Volcanoes data table contains the height of each volcano in meters. You can create a new column that uses the values in the Height column to compute a new column containing the height in feet.

To create a new column which contains the height in feet, click Computed Columns.
