Special characters
The following is a list of the most often-used special characters. Remember, hold down the “modifier keys,” the ones that don’t do anything by themselves, then tap the character key just once.
Remember, to set an accent mark over a letter, press the Option key and the letter (it will look like nothing happened), then press the letter you want under it (see page 79). A complete chart is on the previous two pages.
