CONCLUSION

It’s said that we learn from our mistakes. I’m not so sure that we do. Or at least I’m not so sure that everyone does. The people that learn from their mistakes are those who take the trouble to reflect on what went wrong and what they need to do differently if they are to avoid making the same mistake in the future. That’s valuable learning, which is why I choose Churchill’s quotation for inclusion in the Top Ten:
