USING DATA IN DECISION MAKING

INTRODUCTION

This Section provides a range of data collection models that will help you to make informed decisions. At first glance it might appear that several models are only concerned with collecting qualitative/soft data. This would be an incorrect assumption, for as you shall see much of the data that is initially collected is later given a financial value (see Section 2 Conclusion).

The best decisions are made when you have a balance of quantitative and qualitative data which has been collected from a number of different sources.
