HOW CAN I MAKE MEETINGS MORE PRODUCTIVE?

Why it’s important: If you call a one-hour meeting and six staff attend, that’s seven hours’ work that didn’t get done. You need to make sure it was worth the trade-off.

Meetings are the bane of modern business life. We all complain about them but then get annoyed if we’re excluded from a meeting that we think we should have been at. It’s likely that you will have to attend a lot of meetings chaired by colleagues or senior managers.
