Head up, lights on, ears pricked, throw down the drawbridge, cross the moat of the closed mind and learn to recognize that feeling when something amazing and inspirational is happening right before your very eyes.

You'll know it when it happens. Just so long as you know what to look for.

And what you need to look for is the feeling that something curious just happened and merits 30 seconds of contemplation.

The physicist and sci-fi writer Isaac Asimov explained that the most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds new discoveries, is not ‘Eureka!’ (I found it!) but rather, ‘hmm... that's funny...’.
