Speaking Engagements

I enjoy public speaking. “Well, good for you, Jennefer,” you’re probably thinking. There is a natural fear of doing a presentation (see this chapter’s very first tip). But if you’re an entrepreneur, bite the bullet and do it. Public speaking is an excellent tool to get in front of your target market, showcase your expertise, and differentiate yourself and your company from the competition. You can generate new business or receive business leads or referrals. One of my clients, a realtor, got a multimillion-dollar listing that resulted from a speaking engagement.
