Chapter 12. Conferencing

When you want to get a large number of people (25 to 2,000) on a phone call, most office systems won't have the capacity you require, so use these services for your teleseminars and webinars.

Some of these services include recording/transcription features, and some will even allow you to see who exactly is on the call. See also "Voice over IP" (under "Miscellaneous Resources").

Even though the call is normally recorded, sooner or later something will go wrong—so you should hedge your bets by also recording the call yourself.

With webinars, your prospects can watch a screencast while listening to you on the phone. On their computer, they see whatever you are broadcasting from yours.
