This book is part of the ‘Chandos Knowledge Management’ series. It deals with one specific component of knowledge management – ‘lessons learned’.

The phrase ‘lessons learned’ is common, yet people struggle to develop effective lessons learned approaches. The book is written for the project manager, quality manager or senior manager trying to put in place a new system for learning from experience, or to improve the system they have. It is based on experience of successful and unsuccessful systems, and recognises the need to convert learning into action.
