Ensuring lessons and updated processes are re-applied

In the previous chapters we discussed how lessons can be identified from activity, how actions can be assigned to those lessons, how the actions may often be for a process owner to update a process, and how a process owner may review, validate and act on the lessons. However, even if this part of the learning loop works perfectly and lessons are routinely taken forward into improved processes, this still won’t have an impact on performance unless people across the organisation start to apply those improved processes in business activity.
