Over the years I have learned several things about Lean. One is that CEOs only listen to other CEOs, probably with good reason. The other is that Lean will only succeed when it is an integral part of the strategy of the organization, actively led and supported by the CEO. When this happens, the results are truly impressive and cause big headaches for the competition.
