6.3. Wednesday: Corporate, or Main Huddle

Business unit representatives (typically the heads of the business units) come together at the corporate huddle, sometimes called a main huddle. They use an agenda similar to that used by the department and business unit huddles, except now the numbers have been further aggregated to the corporate or company level. Participants review last month's forecasts and actual numbers as well as year-to-date numbers, as did those attending the department and business unit huddles. Then they focus their attention on the current month and next month to identify opportunities to reinforce success or to avoid negative variances in the plan.
