Some People Can’t Be Fixed
There are some people who simply are not going to come around and develop an attitude of courtesy and respect. It is not in them, and never will be. I’m not saying that people are not all deserving of courtesy and kindness. I am saying, however, that not everyone is willing to offer these same traits. Due to their environment, upbringing, education, or perhaps just their stubbornness, there are some who are simply not going to go to the trouble to use common courtesy and politeness. There are prejudices that are not going to be corrected, anger that is not going to be resolved, and attitudes that will never be adjusted. I wish I could be proven wrong here, but I am skeptical of our ability to create drastic change ...
