ONE OF THE THINGS I LEARNED quickly in my quest for top service providers is that the fast-food business is not the most respected industry as far as customer service goes.

I don’t eat a lot of fast food on a regular basis. When I travel by car, however, I tend to stop at McDonald’s because their restrooms tend to be clean. While I’m there, I’ll get a cup of coffee or sometimes a sandwich. I’m used to what they deliver. I’m not going to knock McDonald’s.
