We all have more documents in our lives than we know what to do with: Word files, PDFs, and more. Wouldn’t it be great if you could just e-mail them to your Kindle and have them waiting for you on the device? Well, you can! The Docs library on your Fire is dedicated to storing your personal documents, as long as they are in a supported format.

You can get your documents onto your Fire in one of two ways: using the Kindle Personal Documents Service or transferring them using a mini-USB cable. This chapter will cover both methods.
