Many people have written leadership books. Everyone from Tom Peters to Peter Drucker and from Rudy Giuliani to Jack Welch has offered a list of what he or she believes great leadership should be. Even researchers such as Jim Collins (author of Good to Great and Built to Last) and the folks from Gallup (First Break All the Rules by Buckingham and Coffman) observe, interview, and analyze great leaders to figure out what they do in order to teach new leaders a path to success.
