SECOND INTERVIEWS

A rule of thumb among careers specialists is that a first interview confirms that you can do the job, while a second interview checks whether you will fit in. There’s a lot of truth in that. Sometimes the first interview is with HR to establish if you have the right skill set, and the second interview is with a line manager, so questions will be much more job specific.
