Working From Home

Working from home has become so common, it’s acquired its own acronym: WFH.

Of course, with today’s technology, it’s easy to work off site. Many people communicate by email and instant messaging throughout the workday, even with their next-door cube neighbors. It’s not a huge transition to communicate in the same way from a remote location. If a worker has an emergency, has to go out of town, or is waiting for a repair person, employers are generally fine with the employee working from home during that period.
