Today, a book can be many things. It can be a set of pages between two covers, something you hold in your hands and turn the pages of as you read it. It can be an electronic deliverable in PDF form. It may also be an ebook, designed for any of a number of e-reader devices. In all of these cases, though, a book is made up of multiple sections (chapters, normally), has a unifying design, or layout, and can be read in a linear, or narrative, fashion from beginning to end to provide cohesive information.
