What drives distribution value? This is a question I get asked quite frequently. People want to know what they can do to their film to make it more distribution-worthy, and quite frankly, this is a very valid question!
Preproduction is the ideal time to start thinking of distribution for your film. When you plan in advance, there are so many things you can institute at this stage of the game that will give your film infinitely better chances at distribution later.
