METHODS FOR IMPROVEMENT
Part One of this book discussed several key concepts for optimizing improvement, introduced the Model for Improvement as a framework for making improvements, and presented six skills to support improvement efforts. To demonstrate applications of the concepts and methods presented, five examples of improvement projects were included.
Part Two explores the concepts and methods discussed in Part One in more depth across a wider range of applications and complexity. Chapter Four begins Part Two by discussing the system of profound knowledge, the science that forms the foundation for making improvements.
