About the Authors

Cathy Clark is a professor at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, where she directs the CASE i3 Initiative on Impact Investing as part of the award-winning Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE). Clark has been an active pioneer, educator, and consultant for twenty-five years in the fields of impact investing and for-profit and nonprofit social entrepreneurship. She helped develop the standards for B Corporations, taught at Columbia Business School for a decade, and managed impact investments at Flatiron Partners and the Markle Foundation.
