About the Author

As a lad in the 1960s, David Maxson was captivated by the magic of electronic media. His fascination with tape recordings, LP's, dictaphones, film, and radio and TV broadcasting led to his exposure to the world of electronics. One of the first electronic projects he succeded at building was the quintessential crystal radio set. Growing up in the Connecticut suburbs of New York City, David was exposed not only to the technology of the day, but the rich content that radiates out of a major city. With an interest in media firmly in place by the end of his high school years, David went on to Boston University's College of Communication and obtained a degree in Broadcasting and Film.
