Summary
This chapter has provided a great deal of practical knowledge about all the different technologies in the Partitioning Continuum. As with most software products, there are some features that will be useful for a small number of customers. Here we tried to focus on the sweet spots. These are the few configurations that provide the most bang for the buck.
We also showed that combining these different partition types on a single system can provide many of the benefits of multiple partitioning technologies in a single configuration. This provides for maximum availability, flexibility, and utilization at a minimum cost.
