The Adaptive Enterprise is HP's vision of an IT infrastructure that can easily adapt to changes required by the business. These changes could be as simple as a daily spike in load on an online transaction processing (OLTP) application or as complex as a merger or acquisition. The important thing is that today's static IT infrastructures are no longer capable of handling these changes quickly enough to satisfy the needs of the organization. We need to do better.
