80 Plus 20 Equals Good Light

I’VE NEVER BEEN VERY GOOD at math, but I know the Lumiquest 80-20 light attachment adds up. Whenever you get into a situation with an overhead drop ceiling and banks of lovely fluorescent illumination, you need to tweak that light to your advantage. In addition to being green, the available fluorescent bulbs are overhead, which means that the top of your subject’s head will be lit just fine. That’s okay if you’re doing photography for a hair salon, but in most situations you want to see people’s eyes.
